Further information

The Global Forum is at a crucial phase of its development. The steering group has recently met and mapped out potential new directions for the network. They are keen to share their ideas and get your feedback. This year is also notable for a record-breaking number of member countries preparing Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs), so we need to plan how to make the most of this opportunity at July's High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).

All of this (and more!) will be discussed during the Global Forum Community Call on the 4th of April. The agenda of the event is outlined below:

  1. Welcome
  2. Updates from our steering group based on their recent meeting:
    • Meeting background
    • Governance changes
    • Theory of Change
    • Value proposition
    • Regional facilitators in Africa and Latin America
    • New direction for the Global Forum
  3. Key international events this year: HLPF and Summit of the Future
    • Insights from Ling Wang, UNDESA, with Q&A
    • Potential Global Forum activities
    • Member participation and interest at key events
  4. Global Forum plans for the year ahead

Throughout the event, there will be multiple opportunities for discussion and feedback.

To register, please follow this link. (external link, opens in a new window) Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with an option to add the event to your calendar (the confirmation may take a couple of days).

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
