The secretariat
The secretariat manages the Global Forum's activities and administration.
Responsibilities include:
- co-ordinating communication and engagement between members
- supporting the Global Forum's Steering Group
- managing and facilitating the internal groups such as the communities of practice
- producing publications such as how to guides, policy briefs, case studies and MSP tools
- organising events including webinars and closed group sessions
- external communications and PR.
Currently the secretariat is run by a partnership between:
- The Partnering Initiative (TPI), which is internationally recognised as a pioneer in the theory and practice of cross-sectoral partnering
- African Monitor, which brings African voices to the development agenda by ensuring that citizens have the capacity, platforms, and opportunity to participate in decision-making processes.
