The secretariat

The secretariat manages the Global Forum's activities and administration.

Responsibilities include:

  • co-ordinating communication and engagement between members
  • supporting the Global Forum's Steering Group
  • managing and facilitating the internal groups such as the communities of practice
  • producing publications such as how to guides, policy briefs, case studies and MSP tools
  • organising events including webinars and closed group sessions
  • external communications and PR.

Currently the secretariat is run by a partnership between:

  • The Partnering Initiative (TPI), which is internationally recognised as a pioneer in the theory and practice of cross-sectoral partnering
  • African Monitorwhich brings African voices to the development agenda by ensuring that citizens have the capacity, platforms, and opportunity to participate in decision-making processes.
