Collection of personal information

As described in the privacy policy, The Global Forum management collects personal information when you contact us. We will use this information to respond to your request, and, if you agree, to send you marketing information. We will not share your information with companies outside the Global Forum.

The Global Forum secretariat collects personal information you provide to deliver different services such as newsletters and information on publications, events or campaigns.  The data are collected based on the Global Forum’s legitimate interests to keep you updated of the Global Forum’s activities. We strive to limit the amount of personal information collected to support the intended purpose of the collection.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information both online and offline. Only employees of The Partner Initiative and its partner organisations who need the information to perform specific actions are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Period of storage of personal information

We will store your information as long as necessary to fulfill the goals of the Global Forum. All your information will be deleted as soon as your information does no longer serves the goals  of the Global Forum or upon your own request.

Transferring your information outside of Europe

The information which you provide through this website with may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). By way of example, The Partnering Initiative’s cloud storage providers hold servers in the US, or, if you complete a survey on this website, the servers for the survey platform are currently located in countries outside of the EEA. If your information is transferred outside the EEA, steps will be taken to ensure that the country also ensures an adequate level of protection and your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlines in this policy.

Information cancellation/deletion

You may contact us if you have questions relating to the collection, processing or use of your personal information, if you wish to request the correction, blocking or deletion of the same, or if you wish to cancel explicitly granted consent. Please note that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or to have personal data deleted, where such claim is not barred by any legal obligation to retain this data.
