Fundación para el Desarrollo Social (FUDESO)
FUDESO's mission is to work co-operatively and using synergies through the implementation of projects, research development, advocacy, technical assistance, and training programmes. It seeks to foster the necessary evelopment of skills and tools in individuals, organisations, or territories, towards the promotion of comprehensive and integrated development.
Vision: To build a fully and holistically developed society, considering all dimensions of the human being and their environment, acknowledging nature and human beings as an inseparable whole within this concept.
Our main activities include training programmes, advocacy, research, technical assistance, intersectoral co-ordination, among other activities. The majority of what we do is accomplished through dedicated, excellent volunteerism, which enables us to carry out the majority of our activities.
Vision and work in relation to the Global Forum
We feel completely connected to the joint vision that we have been developing as the Global Forum. Therefore, our work has been focused and aligned with local and regional sustainable development in Chile and Latin America. We aim to bring together various stakeholders to accelerate the sustainable development of the region.
Bringing together voices from different sections of society
In general, our spaces are intersectoral and multilevel, characterized by their diversity at both the national and international levels. In the activities we carry out, we believe it is crucial that the providers or transmitters of knowledge, experiences, tools, or skills come from different sectors and levels, just like their beneficiaries. For instance, in our national forum, we have adopted an intersectoral approach and employed a methodology that includes stratified invitations by sector.
